Shooting at Rave Party Kills One in Pinal County, Arizona

FLORENCE, Ariz. — A deadly shooting occurred in Pinal County, Arizona, where two people were shot, one of whom was tragically killed, while attending a “rave party.” The shooting took place in the area of Uno Trail and the US 60, as confirmed by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.

According to authorities, the party was unregulated and attracted between 50 to 100 attendees on Saturday night. Sunday morning, just before 10 a.m., calls were made to 911 reporting shots fired. Notably, the suspected shooter was among those who made the calls.

Initial investigations revealed that the suspect had allegedly attempted to steal a vehicle before shooting at least two individuals. Both the victims and the shooter were attendees of the party, law enforcement officials confirmed.

With the help of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit, Superior Police Officers, DPS Troopers, and PCSO Deputies were able to detain the suspect and lead medical staff to the victims. As a result, the suspected shooter is in custody and there are no threats to citizens.

The second victim is currently in the intensive care unit and is listed in stable condition, police reported. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office and the Superior PD are conducting a joint investigation into the homicide on Highway 60 outside of town limits.
