SANFORD, Florida – A shooting at Cabana Live in Sanford left ten individuals injured, with Seminole County Sheriff’s Detectives currently investigating the incident. The shooting occurred just after midnight at the bar located on Carraway Place. Authorities were initially called to the scene due to a large crowd, only to hear multiple gunshots coming from behind the establishment as individuals began to flee.

Neisha Foster, a witness to the chaos, described her harrowing experience of dropping to the floor upon hearing the shots, as panic and fear swept through the crowd. Foster recounted the chaotic scene of people running and the confusion that ensued during the shooting. Despite sustaining a swollen leg from being run over in the chaos, Foster expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal.

According to an arrest report from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting stemmed from a fistfight inside the establishment, where a teenager uninvolved in the altercation brandished a handgun and opened fire on the crowd. Fortunately, a security guard was able to apprehend the teen and disarm him swiftly.

Following the shooting, ten individuals were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, primarily to their lower bodies. Among the injured was Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell, who sustained minor injuries and has since been released from medical care. Despite the incident, Cabana Live reopened its doors, reassuring customers that the shooting was an isolated incident.
