A tragic shooting occurred at a Walmart in Indiana on Tuesday, resulting in at least one person being injured and the suspected gunman being killed.

According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff, the shooting took place inside the Walmart store in the West Charlotte area. The sheriff’s office was alerted to the incident when multiple calls were made to 911.

Upon arrival, police found one victim who had been shot and was being treated for their injuries. The suspect was then “neutralized” by police, leaving the suspect dead.

The sheriff’s office has yet to release the identity of the victim or the suspect. However, they have confirmed that the victim is in stable condition and is receiving medical care.

The incident is still under investigation and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
