Naples, Florida – New footage has emerged depicting the immediate aftermath of a plane crashing onto Interstate 75 in Collier County. The video, captured by Kyle Cavaliere, shows the burning plane as he rushes toward the scene. The plane reportedly carried five people, three of whom survived, and can be heard in the video telling Cavaliere that they believe the pilots are still inside.

The pilots had informed air traffic control of engine failure just minutes before the crash, indicating that an emergency landing would have to be made. The incident occurred near the Golden Gate Parkway exit. Cavaliere also recorded as he approached the crash site in his vehicle, capturing the moments just after impact.

The Florida Highway Patrol released new details on the injured individuals involved in the crash, stating that the 48-year-old man driving the heavily damaged Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck sustained only minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. An SUV was also involved in the crash, although the three women inside were uninjured.

While northbound lanes of the interstate have since reopened, the southbound lanes at the Golden Gate Parkway exit remain closed as the investigation and cleanup efforts continue. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has requested that anyone with video footage of the plane before the crash to email it to witness@ntsb.gov.
