ITALY, TEXAS – A mother has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her five children, killing three and leaving two injured at their home in Italy, Texas, sources say. The incident occurred just hours after a visit from Child Protective Services (CPS).

According to sources, the mother was frustrated and upset after the CPS visit and began stabbing her children. Three of the children, all under the age of 10, were killed in the attack. Two others, who were also under the age of 10, were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Neighbors called 911 after hearing screams and a commotion coming from the home. When authorities arrived, they found the deceased children and the injured ones being carried out of the home by emergency responders.

The mother, whose identity has not been released, was arrested at the scene and is facing multiple charges, including murder and attempted murder.
