Tiger Woods Thrills at Genesis Invitational – Max Homa & Jon Rahm Lead the Way!

The 2023 Genesis Invitational is off to a thrilling start, with Tiger Woods making a statement on the leaderboard. On Friday, Woods shot a 69 in the second round, trailing by five strokes.

Max Homa and Jon Rahm are looking rock solid in Los Angeles, as they both shoot a 65 in the first round. Homa and Rahm are currently tied for the lead at 10-under par.

Woods is still in contention, as he is five shots off the lead and tied for seventh place. The veteran golfer has made a strong start, with four birdies and an eagle on the back nine.

Meanwhile, other golfers have made good progress as well. Cameron Smith is currently in second place at 9-under par, while Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, and Hideki Matsuyama are tied for third at 8-under par.
