CORFU, Greece – An American tourist was tragically discovered deceased near the Greek island of Corfu over the weekend, as reported by local media. This incident adds to a series of recent occurrences where tourists have either lost their lives or vanished while visiting the Greek islands.

The individual was found in the sea close to the old port of Mathraki by another tourist who promptly alerted the authorities.
