Early Sunday morning in the Benedict Canyon area of Los Angeles, a shooting left three people dead and four others critically injured.
The Beverly Crest neighborhood was stunned by the violence, which occurred at around 4 a.m. According to witnesses, there was a dispute between two groups before shots were fired.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has yet to identify any suspects in the shooting. The victims were taken to a local hospital, where three of them were pronounced dead.
Four others were critically injured and remain in the hospital. The LAPD is asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
The shooting has sent shockwaves through the affluent neighborhood of Beverly Crest, which is known for its high-end homes and celebrity residents.
This is the second shooting in the area in the past month, and police are working to determine if the two incidents are related.
