Actor Cody Longo, best known for his role as Nick Fallon on NBC’s “Days of Our Lives,” has died at the age of 34.
Longo’s family confirmed the news in a statement, saying the actor died on Thursday, February 11. The cause of death has not been released.
Longo starred on “Days of Our Lives” from 2009 to 2011, playing the role of Nick Fallon, a troubled teen who became involved in a love triangle with two other characters.
He also appeared in a number of other television shows and movies, including “Hollywood Heights,” “Make It or Break It,” and “The Young and the Restless.”
Longo’s death has shocked and saddened his fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry. His former “Days of Our Lives” co-star, Arianne Zucker, paid tribute to him on Twitter, writing: “Cody was an incredible talent and a beautiful soul. He will be deeply missed.”
Longo is survived by his parents, two sisters, and his fiancée, actress and singer Brittany Underwood.
