According to The New York Times, the man had shot an officer before being killed by police. The officer is currently in critical condition.
ABC24 Memphis reported that a second person was also killed in the shooting.
WREG News Channel 3 reported that the shooting occurred at around 10:30 a.m. local time.
Fox News reported that the Memphis Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
