In addition to the four fatalities, nine individuals, including a 12-year-old girl, sustained injuries during the incident.

The devastating crash took place at Hawaii Nail & Spa in Deer Park when an SUV crashed through the front window, where customers and staff were present. Rennhack, one of the victims, was an off-duty New York City police officer who was at the salon to get her nails done at the time of the tragic event.

Rennhack was a dedicated officer at the 102nd Precinct in Queens, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the New York City Police Department who announced her passing on Saturday. All four individuals who lost their lives tragically passed away at the scene of the accident, while the injured victims, ranging from 12 to 58 years old, were taken to area hospitals for medical treatment. Among the injured, four individuals are in serious condition but their injuries are not life-threatening, while the other five individuals have already received treatment and are in stable condition.
