The last time she was seen alive was when she left the lodge at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, never to return. Her disappearance sparked a search by loved ones and authorities, culminating in a heart-wrenching discovery on Thanksgiving Day – her lifeless body, with multiple stab wounds, off the trail.
