Wife Shoots and Kills Terminally Ill Husband at Daytona Beach Hospital, Faces Charges

A tragic event occurred at AdventHealth Daytona Beach on Tuesday morning when a woman shot and killed her terminally ill husband.

Police said the woman, who has yet to be identified, had planned the shooting and barricaded herself in the hospital room after the shooting. According to police, the woman was still in the hospital room when they arrived on the scene and she was taken into custody without incident.

The incident has been widely reported by news outlets such as WESH 2 Orlando, CNN, Fox News, WFTV Orlando, and MSNBC.

The motive for the shooting is still unknown, but police said they are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

The family of the deceased has yet to comment on the incident.
