In a shocking turn of events, seven people were shot in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood on Monday evening, including five teens and a two-year-old toddler.
Police say that over 30 shots were fired near the Strawberry Mansion school. Four people were shot in the incident, including the five teens and the toddler, while three others were injured in the ensuing chaos.
According to CBS Philadelphia, the shooting occurred near the James G. Blaine School in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city. ABC News reported that six children and one woman were injured in the shooting at the schoolyard.
The Philadelphia Police Department is currently investigating the incident and have not released any information on the identities of the victims or the suspect.
