Last week, three objects were shot down over North America. After an investigation, President Biden has announced that the objects do not appear to be part of China’s spy balloon operation.
The Pentagon had attempted to shoot down one of the objects, which was a Chinese balloon, over Montana’s Beartooth Mountains. However, the attempt was unsuccessful.
Biden further stated that the three aerial ‘objects’ the US shot down were likely not related to China surveillance.
The US has been closely monitoring the sky and tracking what is flying overhead. The US Air Force has been using radar and satellites to detect objects in the atmosphere.
The President is looking for ways to get ahead of the balloons, and protect the US airspace from foreign surveillance.
