Breaking News: Multiple Shootings in Des Moines Leave Several Injured and 1 Dead

Des Moines is reeling from a wave of violence that has left two people critically injured, one person seriously injured, and one person dead.

At around 9:30 am on Wednesday morning, police responded to a shooting at a Des Moines charter school. When they arrived, they found that two people had been critically injured, one person seriously injured, and one person dead. The deceased has been identified as a 36-year-old man.

The other victims, a teacher and two others, were injured at a nearby youth nonprofit. Police are still investigating the incident, but believe the two shootings are related.

This marks the fourth homicide of the year in Des Moines, and the city is on edge as police investigate the scene on the south side of the city.
