Fatal Shooting at Terrell’s Swinging Doors Saloon Leaves Family Grieving for the Holidays

TERRELL, Texas – Police in Terrell have initiated an investigation into a fatal shooting at the Swinging Doors Saloon. 27-year-old Bryan Squires was gunned down outside the establishment following a dispute, as officers arrived at the scene in the early hours of the morning. Squires later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. His family is now coming to terms with the tragedy as they approach the holiday season without him.

A suspect, 34-year-old Nichols Longoria, has been arrested and charged with murder. According to Terrell Police, witnesses identified Longoria as the perpetrator. He was taken into custody on Sunday morning on separate charges. His mother Kristi Barbosa, who is still mourning the loss of her mother, is now faced with the unimaginable task of burying her own son. At last report, Longoria is being held on a $1 million bond.
