Jeff Bezos Makes Move to Buy Washington Commanders as Daniel Snyder Stands His Ground

A new report suggests that Washington Football Team owner Daniel Snyder may not sell the XFL’s DC Commanders after all. According to NBC Sports, Snyder is reportedly no longer interested in selling the team, despite a potential bid from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.

Bezos had reportedly been in the running to purchase the Commanders, but sources told the New York Post that his bid came up short. As a result, Bezos was benched from the sale.

However, according to USA Today, Snyder may now be looking for a $6 billion offer for the Commanders. That’s a significant increase from the $3.3 billion he was originally asking for the team.

The National Review has speculated that Bezos may still be interested in purchasing the Commanders, and Yahoo Sports reports that he has hired a firm to help with a potential bid.

It remains to be seen if Snyder will ultimately sell the Commanders, and if so, who the lucky buyer will be.
