The 35-year-old artist, known for her work on projects like “Babylon” and “Rebel Moon,” was reportedly stabbed multiple times at her Los Angeles residence on May 23.

According to reports from the LAPD, officers responded to a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon in the Shadow Hills neighborhood early in the morning, finding Shehorn with serious stab wounds. She was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital and her ex-boyfriend was promptly arrested.

Shehorn’s friends, Emily MacDonald and Jed Dornoff, initiated a fundraising campaign to assist with her medical expenses. Providing regular updates on Shehorn’s condition, MacDonald described her as a compassionate individual who does not deserve such a traumatic experience.
