Plantation, Florida – A tragedy unfolded as authorities found 38-year-old Sara Ashley Gama and her 2-year-old son Ethan Aponte lifeless inside their Plantation home. The devastating incident led to the arrest of Jean Carlos Aponte, who has now been charged with the murders of his wife and toddler.

Reports indicate that Aponte allegedly stabbed his son four times and his wife 28 times, leading to their untimely deaths. Both victims displayed defensive wounds on their hands.
