A tragic shooting at a convenience store in Yakima, Washington left three people dead and one suspect dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred late on Tuesday night at the convenience store, prompting police to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, officers were met with a man armed with a gun who had already shot and killed three people.
The suspect then barricaded himself in the store, leading to a lengthy standoff with police. Several roads in the area were closed off as police attempted to negotiate with the suspect.
After several hours, the suspect was found dead inside the store with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police have not released the identities of the victims or the suspect.
The Yakima Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting and ask anyone with information to contact them.
