Witness History: SpaceX Set to Launch Falcon 9, Amazonas-6, and More This Weekend!

SpaceX is set to launch the Amazonas-6 satellite from Kennedy Space Center in Florida this Sunday. The satellite, owned by Spanish company Hispasat, will be launched by SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

The satellite is a communications satellite and its launch is expected to provide better television, broadband, corporate networks and other communications services to the Americas, Europe, and North Africa.

SpaceX will be live streaming the launch on its website and YouTube channel at 5:33 PM EDT on Sunday.

The launch will mark the sixth mission of the year for SpaceX and the 55th flight of a Falcon 9 rocket.

The launch of Amazonas-6 is the first of two launches planned for this weekend. On Monday, SpaceX will launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the SES-12 satellite from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

SpaceX is a private aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company based in California. It has been leading the way in the commercial space industry by launching satellites and resupplying the International Space Station.

SpaceX has had a successful track record of launches and it is expected that the launch of Amazonas-6 and SES-12 will be no exception.
