Zelenskiy Calls for Action as Russian Troops Battle Ukrainian Forces in East Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has called for faster military aid as Russian forces continue to pound Ukraine’s eastern border. The conflict between the two countries has been escalating, with Ukrainian and Russian troops now battling just feet apart.

The situation has become especially dire in recent weeks, with reports of Ukraine killing nearly 1,000 Russian troops every day and eliminating 5,000 in a single battle. This has led to a Russian expert claiming that tanks may have disadvantages against Abrams tanks.

The conflict has been further complicated by Russian forces bombarding Ukrainian front lines. With no end to the conflict in sight, it is now more important than ever for the international community to provide military aid to Ukraine.
