Ukraine Calls on Allies to Send F-16 Fighters as Biden Vows No Supplies to Russia Amid Pressure

In a recent press conference, US President Joe Biden announced that the US will not be providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets. This announcement comes as Russia is claiming to have made gains in Ukraine’s eastern region.

Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has called on other allies to supply Ukraine with fighter jets in the wake of this announcement.

In response, Poland has offered to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets in coordination with NATO. Poland’s President’s Office released a statement saying that they are ready to provide Ukraine with the support they need.

The top adviser to President Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, is counting on positive results from this situation very soon. In an interview with FRANCE 24 English, Yermak said that Ukraine needs a faster supply of Western weapons in order to protect itself against Russian aggression.
